Fingerprint Search are a privately owned recruitment company based in Buckinghamshire, offering recruitment services across the UK, Europe.
As proud members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, Fingerprint Search use their expertise and extensive contacts in the IT marketplace to specialises in recruiting high-calibre technical professionals for the IT industry.
The Project Brief
After previously working with Fingerprint Search in establishing their logo and brand identity, corporate stationery and initial holding page. We were asked to design, develop and create a fully responsive website, meaning it would work seamlessly on any device, be that a mobile, tablet or desktop machine.
The website needed to be; easy to use, easy to manage in add new roles and updating content for the company, as well as providing users with a simple online application mechanism.
Our Solution
Working closely with the client, we established the requirements for the website, from a content perspective, but also from a functionality point of view, both for the end user, but also for the administration of the website and job roles. Establishing these aspects early in the project was critical to the outcome and ultimately it’s success.
Built on a content management system, we created the Fingerprint Search website to allow their staff to effortlessly manage and create new job vacancies, highlight and promote specific vacancies on the homepage as well as manage the remaining content on the website. The jobs section was coupled with an online application mechanism, that easily allowed users to apply for a specific role from any device as well as being able to quickly share vacancies via the main social platforms.
The Fingerprint Search website was the first fully responsive website we had developed and this was a learning curve for both ourselves and the client. This bolstered the relationship with ongoing consultation and development reviews throughout.
Since the initial launch we have undertaken a website review and second phase development.
This included;
- Revision of the menu and sub pages following Google analytic reports.
- Integration of the ability to apply for roles via your LinkedIn profile, in which a PDF CV is created on the fly and emailed as part of the application based on the user LinkedIn profile information.
- Addition of latest tweets to the homepage.
- Addition of standalone page creation and document management.
- Various updates and tweaks following feedback, Google analytic reviews and general direction of the company.
We continue to work with Fingerprint Search to evolve their online requirements.
